Championship pair keeping tabs on former Reds midfielder
Skysports.com understands Leeds and Southampton are eyeing a move for former Liverpool youngster Victor Palsson.
Palsson left Anfield during the January transfer for Hibernian and the 20-year-old has caught the eye at Easter Road.
The Finland Under-21 international has made 16 appearances for Hibs and his performances have attracted the interest of a host of scouts.
Southampton are keen to bolster their squad as they prepare for life back in the Championship and they are keeping tabs on Palsson.
Leeds are also in the market for midfield reinforcements with Neil Kilkenny and Bradley Johnson set to move on and Palasson has come to their attention.
Hibs would be loathe to lose Palsson, but could struggle to reject a big-money offer if Leeds and Southampton firm up their interest.
