Agent claims midfielder will move to Switzerland for pre-season
West Ham midfielder Radoslav Kovac is on his way to FC Basel, where he is expected to sign a two-year contract.
The Czech player previously hinted at the possibility of leaving the Hammers due to the lack of opportunities on offer.
Despite still having one year left on his West Ham contract, the 31-year-old has decided for Basel, who can offer him UEFA Champions League football.
For Kovac, this is probably going to be the last spell outside of the Czech Republic after spending time with Spartak Moscow and West Ham.
"Everything is in a good way and the transfer should be finalised on Friday. Radek is to join Basel's pre-season preparation," Kovac's agent, Pavel Zika, told:
