M'Poku moves back to Belgium with former club

Belgian youngster Paul-Jose M'Poku has left Tottenham and returned to Standard Liege. The 19-year-old was part of the Belgian Pro League side's youth set-up before joining the Spurs academy as a 16-year-old in June 2008. However, the midfielder has secured a move back to Belgium after failing to establish himself in Tottenham's first-team squad. M'Poku failed to make a first-team appearance for Spurs but did impress during a loan spell with League One outfit Leyton Orient last season, making 35 appearances and scoring three goals. The DR Congo-born player has also made six international appearances for Belgium's Under-21 side.
