Rangers have confirmed that they will not be following up their interest in Marek Suchy.
The Gers made an enquiry about the Spartak Moscow defender, with a view to a loan move.
But Ally McCoist has confirmed that he will not be pursuing the Czech due to the signing of Carlos Bocanegra.
"We were interested in signing him but I'll be honest with you and say it has cooled now that we have got Carlos in," said McCoist.
"We were interested but the signing of Carlos would put an end to that."
