Bundesliga outfit Schalke have confirmed Anthony Annan's loan move to Vitesse Arnheim for the duration of the 2011/2012 season.
The German outfit will receive a loan fee, while the Dutch club have negotiated an option to buy the Ghana international midfielder at the end of the season.
The two clubs had earlier worked out an agreement and now Annan has agreed personal terms to enable the deal to go ahead.
Annan joined Schalke from Rosenborg in January 2011 on a deal until June 2014 but became surplus to requirements after the club appointed new boss Ralf Rangnick.
