Fit-again striker joins First Division club on month-long deal
Hearts have loaned out fit-again striker Calum Elliot to Scottish First Division club Dundee on a month-long deal.
Elliot has returned to fitness following knee surgery having last played for the Edinburgh side eight months ago.
First-team coach Gary Locke believes the move to the Dark Blues will be beneficial and said: "I think it's going to be a great move for him.
"He has been looking really sharp in training over the past few weeks but is needing games.
"Hopefully if he can get a few with Dundee then he'll be ready to come straight back into the team when he returns from the loan."
Elliot drops down a division a day after team-mate Denis Prychynenko moved to Kirkcaldy to join Raith Rovers on loan until January.
