NEC Nijmegen defender Bram Nuytinck has penned a two-year contract extension to keep him at the Eredivisie club until 2015. The 21-year-old's former contract was due to expire in June 2013 but he has committed himself to the Dutch side on a longer deal. Nuytinck, who came through the youth ranks at NEC before making his professional debut in 2009, is happy to have extended his stay in Nijmegen.

Pleased

He told the club's official website: "Time has gone so quickly since my debut two years ago. "I have learned a lot and I am convinced that NEC can make big steps with this talented group of players. "I am pleased that the club has the confidence in me to grant me another two years." Technical director Carlos Aalbers added: "Bram has developed greatly in recent years. "It's a good signal to our players, the coaching staff and the supporters that a young talent has committed for a longer period. "Bram's contract extension fits into our vision to invest in players who can and will develop even further."
