Munich director of football has announced that his squad is staying the same

Bayern Munich director of football Christian Nerlinger has announced that no one will be bought or sold in the upcoming January transfer window. Jupp Heynckes' side are currently top of the Bundesliga but Ivica Olic, Daniel Pranjic, Hans-Jorg Butt, Anatoly Timoshcuk, Daniel van Buyten and Breno are all on contracts which expire in June 2012. Nerlinger, however, is not worried about the players' contracts at the moment because he is more focused on training and preparing for the upcoming fixtures. "We do not plan to make changes; we have not lined up any transfers. We are convinced of the quality of the current squad. We feel this squad is able to achieve a lot," Nerlinger told the club's official website. "We are not going to negotiate any outrunning deals with anyone from the squad during our camp of training in Doha in January. "Instead we are to work hard in training to prepare ourselves. We are in no hurry with regard to outrunning contracts."
