Portuguese outfit deny contact with any clubs
Portuguese outfit Nacional insist they have not had formal contact with any club over Serbian Ivan Todorovic.
Premier League side West Bromwich Albion have been strongly linked with the 28-year-old midfielder.
West Brom scouts are believed to have been in Lisbon ten days ago to check on Nacional's game with Benfica and sources claim Todorovic was the main reason for their trip.
The reports are unlikely to have been too positive as he was withdrawn at half-time in the 4-1 loss.
Todorovic has also been attracting the attention of Hannover and Chievo Verona, but Nacional insist that, although they know he is being watched, nobody has been in contact with them.
"We see scouts from other clubs but there have been no formal contacts with any club," a spokesman said.
Todorovic, who joined Nacional in 2010, has 18 months left on his current deal but he is believed to have a clause in his contract allowing him to talk with top-flight clubs from major foreign leagues.
