ADO Den Haag have agreed deals to bring De Graafschap's Vito Wormgoor and RKC Waalwijk's Aaron Meijers to the club in the summer.

Dutch club reach agreements for Wormgoor and Meijers

ADO Den Haag have agreed deals to bring De Graafschap defender Vito Wormgoor and RKC Waalwijk midfielder Aaron Meijers to the club in the summer. Meijers will join on a free transfer when his RKC contract expires at the end of the season, while Wormgoor will trigger a release clause in his contract after only penning a new deal last year to keep him at De Graafschap until 2015. Wormgoor, who has been at De Vijverberg since 2009, feels he has progressed as far as he can at the Eredivisie club. He told Omroep Gelderland: "Everyone wants to move upwards and this is a step ahead. "ADO Den Haag have a good squad and attracted me as a club. It is a real club of the people.

Growth

"At De Graafschap I don't see many possibilities for growth. If a new stadium was built, everything would be different "However, my feelings for the club won't change. De Graafschap is a fantastic club." The defensive midfielder was pleased the two clubs were able to work around his long-term contract and negotiate a deal. "Maybe it's strange, but there were some clear clauses in the contract," he said. "Thankfully we could work it out."
