Striker attracting interest from overseas

Blackpool forward Daniel Bogdanovic is ready to snub interest from abroad to stay in England. Bogdanovic, who has just ended a successful loan spell at Notts County, is out of contract with Blackpool this summer. Blackpool have an option to extend Bogdanovic, but they are unlikely to offer him fresh terms. A number of Italian Serie A clubs are thought to be ready to offer Bogdanovic a route out of England, with the striker previously enjoying a spell in Italian football. However, Bogdanovic admits his preference is to stay in England after enjoying his two-month spell on loan at Notts County. Magpies boss Keith Curle has admitted he would be interested in making Bogdanovic's move permanent with the former Barnsley man scoring two goals in his last two games at Meadow Lane. Bogdanovic admits he will weigh up his options this summer and that his main goal is to be playing regular first-team football next season. "It looks like I will be leaving Blackpool this summer and looking for a new club," Bogdanovic told skysports.com.

Interest

"I am flattered by the interest from overseas, but I would prefer to stay in England. "I really enjoyed my time at Notts County and I like the manager. I've been given a great reception by the supporters and I'm really starting to come back into form. "The most important thing for me is to be playing football on a regular basis and if given this opportunity I'm confident I will score a lot of goals."
