Wrexham have signed former Blackpool striker Brett Ormerod on a free transfer. Ormerord arrives at the Racecourse Ground on a free transfer after turning down a new deal at Blackpool. A number of clubs have expressed an in the 35-year-old, but Wrexham have managed to persuade Ormerod to make the move to the Blue Square Bet Premier. Wrexham player-manager Andy Morrell was delighted to land the experienced forward who is the only player to have scored in all four divisions for Blackpool. "I'm really pleased that we have been able to tie up signing Brett," Morrell told the club's official website. "He has played in all four divisions of the Football League and last year was scoring in the Championship. "He will only add to our squad and his enthusiasm for the game is fantastic."
