Manchester United's UEFA Champions League opponents CFR Cluj have signed Jorge Martinez on a season-long loan from Juventus.
The midfielder has struggled to make an impact for Juventus since joining the club on a four-year contract from Catania in 2010.
The Uruguay international spent last season on loan at Cesena and he has now been allowed to link up with Romanian champions Cluj.
Martinez is likely to be in the Cluj squad for the Champions League group phase when his new side tackle United, Galatasaray and Braga.
