Florent Balmont has agreed a new contract with Lille, the midfielder has announced on Twitter.
The combative 34-year-old has been with Les Dogues since 2008 and was a mainstay of their Ligue 1 side last season, making 35 appearances and scoring once.
He wrote on his official Twitter account: "That's it! I have reached an agreement with the club until 2017. Very proud to stay at Lille."
