Stuttgart have warned potential suitors of Vedad Ibisevic that they have no intention of selling the striker.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has been at the club for the past two years and remains under contract until June 2016, but speculation suggested that he could leave this summer.

A number of Premier League sides have been linked with Ibisevic, as well as teams from Turkey, and there have been reports that Ibisevic wants talks with Stuttgart over his future.

However, the Bundesliga club currently have few other options up front and manager Armin Veh is not prepared to let the 29-year-old go.

"Selling Vedad Ibisevic is not an issue for VfB Stuttgart,” he told Bild.

“I am not going to start the new campaign without any strikers.”

Stuttgart director Jochen Schneider added: "We are not looking into a departure for Vedad Ibisevic, that's a fact."
