Middlesbrough have completed the signing of James Husband from Doncaster for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old defender has signed a four-year deal with Boro in a deal that will see Curtis Main moving in the opposite direction, following 52 appearances for the club.
Speaking to the official club website, head coach Aitor Karanka said: "We are delighted to welcome James to the club. He is a young player we believe has a very good future in the game.
"He's a good footballer and has all the things we look for in a young player. We wish him every success here at Boro."
