Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka believes new signing Emilio Nsue's versatility will be a big asset.
The 24-year-old, a former Spain Under-21 international, became Boro's fourth summer signing on Friday when he agreed a three-year contract at the Riverside, leaving Real Mallorca, though the club are waiting for international clearance before the deal is confirmed.
Karanka told the club's official website: "He is a versatile player who I have known for five years. He is a good lad with a good mentality and approach to the game.
"I know him personally and know the type of person he is, and that is important.
"And as a player he can play in different positions and I am delighted we have agreed a deal to sign him."
