Huddersfield striker Harry Bunn has signed a new contract to keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2017.

The 21-year-old joined the Sky Bet Championship side on loan from Manchester City in November 2013 and his move was subsequently made permanent.

Bunn has been in impressive form this season, scoring five goals in 14 appearances, and he will now remain at the John Smith's Stadium for an extended period, with the club having an option to extend the contract by a further year.

“I’m delighted that we’ve secured Harry’s future to Huddersfield Town in the long term,” Huddersfield manager Chris Powell told the club’s official website.

“The club has been talking to Harry and his representatives behind the scenes over the last few weeks as it was important we reached an agreement that all parties – the club and Harry – were happy with.

“Harry is a great character and I have no doubt that he will keep working hard every day in training.

“Everyone can see the impact he has already made, but at just 21 years old there is still more improvement to come. That’s an exciting prospect!”
