Hull City defender Maynor Figueroa has extended his loan spell at former club Wigan until the end of the year.
The Honduras international, edged out of the Tigers reckoning by Andy Robertson, Robbie Brady and Liam Rosenior, re-signed for the Latics on a one-month deal in October.
He has since played four times, taking his career appearances for the club to 204, and all parties have agreed to another month.
Latics manager Uwe Rosler said: "Maynor's experience has been a big asset and we are happy to have him until the end of the year."
Figueroa, 31, could feature in eight more matches for the Sky Bet Championship club before the new deal expires on December 30.
