Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for midfielder Benjamin Stambouli this summer but have not yet received any bids for the player, according to Sky sources.

Reports in French newspaper L'Equipe claimed Marseille had made an offer to Tottenham to sign the Frenchman but Sky Sports understands that, although the Ligue 1 club are interested in Stambouli, there has been no formal offer.

Stambouli, 24, signed for Spurs last summer from Montpellier for around £4m but has struggled to break into the first-team, making just four Premier League starts.

Spurs opted to sign the former France Under-21 international instead of Alex Song on loan from Barcelona, who instead joined West Ham for the season.

Meanwhile, Sky sources also understand Spurs are not interested in the out-of-contract Marseille forward Andre Ayew, as had also been reported in France.

The Ghana international forward, 25, is believed to desire a move to the Premier League this summer and also has interest from Italy.
