Benjamin Stambouli is expected to leave Tottenham for Paris Saint-Germain, according to coach Laurent Blanc.

The French champions are reported to have agreed a £6m fee for the midfielder who made just 12 league appearances following his £4.7m move from Montpellier last August.

Former France and Manchester United defender Blanc told Le Parisien: "Benjamin will definitely join us Monday afternoon.

"He has to pass a medical test and once this is the case he will be with us. He could play on Tuesday against Fiorentina but needs to do collective training with us before.

"He followed a normal preparation with his former club, even if he did nothing for two to three days."
