Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has been allowed to return home following a double fracture to his leg, according to Sky sources.
The England international suffered the injury during United's 2-1 defeat to PSV Einhoven last Tuesday.
Shaw has since been recovering in a Manchester hospital since arriving back from the Netherlands at the weekend.
The 20-year-old's return to England had been delayed because medical staff had been concerned about possible infections to Shaw's wounds.
Shaw is expected to be out for nine months and is a severe doubt for Euro 2016.
