Kevin De Bruyne says Manchester City's hopes of progressing to the last four of the Champions League have improved after their 2-2 draw with PSG.
City led then had to come from behind to secure a draw in the French capital but scoring two away goals gives them a narrow advantage to take into the return leg next midweek.
De Bruyne, 24, scored the opening goal at the Parc des Princes having recently returned from a knee injury after two months out.
He has attempted to play down City's hopes of claiming a semi-final spot for the first time but concedes they are in a strong position.
De Bruyne said: "There are still 90 minutes to play and we know it is going to be a tough game next week.
"PSG will go there to score goals but a lot of people will now see the chances more for us than they did before."
City relinquished the lead De Bruyne gave them too easily as Fernando's slack pass allowed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score.
But the Belgian was happy with the way they rallied to level through Fernandinho after they had fallen 2-1 down to Adrien Rabiot's goal.
De Bruyne added: "Obviously in the moment it is a little bit tough for him (Fernando) and everybody is a little bit angry but after that it is over.
"It happened and I think to come away from here with a draw is a good result for us. I think it was a difficult game but that is what we expected. We showed a lot of character.
"Obviously we made a mistake at 1-1 but it happens. The second half, in the beginning, was a bit more difficult but I think after 2-2 both teams were in control and after that not a lot happened."
