A group of Albania fans seemed to find the brighter side of their suspended game against Macedonia after torrential rain.

After a downpour at the Elbasan Arena, Turkish referee Huseyin Gocek called the game off in the 77th minute with the score at 1-1.

Armando Sadiku had given Albania the lead in the Group G opener, before Macedonia equalised through Egzijan Alioski in the second half.

But they will have to play their World Cup Qualifier another day as conditions became too dangerous to play in, though the Albanian home fans didn't seem to mind too much.

Elsewhere in the group, Spain beat Liechtenstein 8-0, while Italy beat Israel 3-1.
