Partick Thistle midfielder Adam Barton has been named Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for October.
The 25-year-old has impressed for Alan Archibald's side as they climbed off the foot of the table to eighth place.
Although he has been primarily used in a midfield role, Barton has been deployed at the heart of the Thistle defence.
Barton played in four of the five league matches in which the Jags recorded two victories and two draws.
He is the first Partick player to win an award since Stuart Brannigan was named SPFL Players of the Month in August 2013.
