Rob Kiernan has been charged with violent conduct for an incident during Rangers' draw with St Johnstone on Wednesday.

Kiernan clashed with Saints captain Steven Anderson shortly before half-time during the 1-1 draw at McDiarmid Park.

The incident occurred shortly after a poor back-pass from the Rangers defender gifted Steven MacLean an equaliser.

Kiernan has until Wednesday to decide whether he will accept the punishment - leaving him free to face Celtic in Saturday's Old Firm derby at Ibrox.
