Graeme Murty had an over the top reaction after a miss from Harry Forrester

Rangers caretaker boss Graeme Murty had an 'over the top' reaction to a Harry Forrester miss on Sunday as his side lost 2-1 to Dundee.

With 81 minutes on the clock, the Gers were on the hunt for an equaliser as substitute Forrester poked the ball agonisingly wide of the back post after a latching onto a header from Joe Garner.

But it proved far more than Murty could take, who took a tumble on the touchlines that saw him end up in a handstand position before getting back to his feet.

Rangers are now winless in their last three Scottish Premiership games and remain without a permanent manager after the departure of Mark Warburton on February 10.

Dundee, however, picked up their first win of 2017 at Dens Park thanks to first half goals from Mark O'Hara and Kevin Holt.

Garner netted his first goal in 11 games to pull one back for Rangers just after the hour mark, but the visitors could not find an equaliser.
