After the wrong result was read out at the Oscars, we've compiled some embarrassing moments where football has fluffed its lines too.
The Oscars was plunged into chaos on Sunday night when La La Land was announced as the winner of best picture when Moonlight had actually won the award.
That mix-up got us thinking at Sky Sports about the times football has fluffed its lines!
From when Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal called England defender Chris Smalling 'Mike' during a press-conference to Soccer Saturday pundit Paul Merson getting himself in a muddle when trying to pronounce Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni's surname, football is far from infallible from making the odd error.
Soccer Saturday features again with Jeff Stelling telling Chris Kamara to stop calling him Carly, while as recently as Sunday Simon Thomas fluffed his lines when calling Phil Neville 'Gary Neville' as Sky Sports' coverage of the EFL Cup final at Wembley came to a close.
