Germany
Bayern Munich's teenage midfielder Renato Sanches is set to become the most expensive player in Bundesliga history. The Bavarians beat Manchester United to the 19-year-old's signature in the summer, paying Benfica an initial €35m for the player.
However, once Sanches, who has struggled to make an impact at the Allianz Arena, makes his 25th appearance for the club, the Portuguese champions will receive a further €5m, equalling the record €40m Bayern paid to sign Javi Martinez from Athletic Bilbao in 2012. (Sportbild)
