Arsenal's Hector Bellerin donates more than £19,000 to help Grenfell Tower fire victims

Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin is to donate more than £19,000 to the British Red Cross to help victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.

At least 80 people were killed in the blaze at the west London tower block on June 14.

The Spaniard previously said he would be donating £50 for every minute he played for his country at the European U21 Championships.

Spain reached the final, where they were beaten 1-0 by Germany on Friday, and Bellerin took to Twitter on Sunday to reveal that he will be donating £19,050 to the organisation after playing 381 minutes at the tournament.

"I promised to donate £50 for every minute I played at #U21Euro. I will be donating to the British Red Cross. Please support in any way you can," Bellerin said on social media.

Bellerin, who joined the Gunners after playing for Barcelona's youth teams, has won two FA Cups at the Emirates and has been capped at senior level for his country.
