Former England Women's football captain Faye White says it's 'our time for glory now' after England won the Women's Cricket World Cup.
England are on the brink of qualification for the knockout phase of the Women's European Championships and need only a point against Portugal to reach the last eight.
Faye, who won 90 caps for England, believes the team have been inspired by others' success.
Speaking at the Premier League girls national football festival at St George's Park, White told Sky Sports News: "I've seen the tweets the girls have been giving to the England cricket team saying 'congratulations' and 'well done' and they'll want some of that.
"They'll want to say 'look they're doing it, they're achieving it, so it's our time now'."
Faye added: "They've seen the England Women's team win the World Cup, the Women's hockey team did well in the last Olympics and won that, and I think they feel it's their time to go on and achieve and bring some glory home into football, into England."
