Jack Wilshere and Erik Lamela had to be pulled apart at full-time after Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Arsenal at Wembley Stadium

Jack Wilshere and Erik Lamela had to be physically separated by team-mates at the end of Tottenham's north London derby victory over Arsenal.

Harry Kane's towering header four minutes into the second half - his seventh goal in his last seven Premier League meetings with the Gunners - saw Spurs claim the bragging rights over their fierce rivals.

Spurs climbed to third in the Premier League as a result, seven points clear of Arsenal whose top-four challenge was dealt a significant blow.

And as Spurs basked in their victory in the rain at Wembley, Wilshere took offence with the over-exuberance of Lamela, with pair prevented from coming to blows by several eagle-eyed team-mates.
