Bafetimbi Gomis has reassured fans "everything is fine" after collapsing during Galatasaray's Super Lig clash with Kasimpasa on Sunday.
The former Swansea striker was allowed to return to the field after collapsing in the seventh minute and briefly appearing to lose consciousness.
Medics cleared the former France international to play on within minutes and he made it through the entire 90 minutes in a game Galatasaray lost 2-1.
Gomis was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope in 2009, a condition which causes low blood pressure and drops in heart rate which lead to fainting spells.
His diagnosis came after he collapsed three times while with the French national team.
After the game, Gomis said on Twitter: "A little uneasiness. Sorry for the fright. Everything's fine. Disappointed by this defeat, we remain focused on our goals of the beginning of the season. Thank you very much for all your affection and support."
The 32-year-old also collapsed during a game against Tottenham in 2015 while he was with Swansea and then Swans boss Garry Monk said: "He has lived with it his whole life, it happens occasionally and when it does so in a public place that scrutiny comes with it."
