Chris Hughton says he and Brighton are looking to move on from the January incident involving Gaetan Bong and Jay Rodriguez.
Bong was booed by sections of the Burnley supporters after a charge against West Brom's Rodriguez - a former player at Turf Moor - of discriminatory misconduct towards the defender was found not proven by the FA.
Hughton spoke of his disappointment after the game at the reception the Cameroon international received, where home supporters also chanted "Jay Rodriguez, he's one of our own".
"We have gone through a fairly long process with Gaetan and certainly what he has wanted to do is get on with playing football. What I can't control is anything that is said outside of that," he said.
"I said what I had to say after the game on Saturday and at this moment all my thoughts are onto the next game because this is the most important thing.
"As is Gaetan's [focus] which was showed by the performance and he has got to look forward to other performances this season that will very much put it into perspective that he wants to play."
The FA condemned the behaviour, describing the actions by Burnley fans as "unacceptable" and reiterated they were "wholly satisfied that the complaint was made in absolute good faith".
"This will probably be the last I say on it. The FA have been excellent right the way through the processes that we went through," Hughton said.
"The communication with the FA has been excellent.
"But we are all very keen now to move on and get on with what is, at this moment, the most important thing which is trying to get some points against Manchester United."
