Fans may be focused on events in Russia, but the World Cup has not stopped the rumour mill from continuing at a remarkable rate.

We have already witnessed a number of big moves across the continent and there is certainly more to come, and our friends at Football Whispers have sifted through the European media to find the best transfer news and latest news stories.

ITALY

Medhi Benatia faces a decision over his future, with Arsenal, Marseille and to a lesser extent Borussia Dortmund interested in the Morocco centre-back. (Tuttosport)

West Ham attacker Marko Arnautovic and Stoke City right back Moritz Bauer have both been offered to Inter Milan this summer, with the Serie A side even meeting with the brother of the player, who has been a target for Manchester United. (Gianluca Di Marzio)

Juventus have made contact with PSV Eindhoven to enquire about Mexico international Hirving Lozano. Bidding for the 22-year-old could start at €35m, although the price could rise further if he continues to impress at the World Cup. (Tuttosport)

Paris Saint-Germain officials met with Juventus in Milan on Wednesday, with the transfer of Chelsea transfer target Alex Sandro among the topics discussed. However, PSG's hands are tied due to Financial Fair Play regulations until July 1. (Tuttosport)

SPAIN

Barcelona will complete the signing of Sevilla centre-back Clement Lenglet when they activate the €35m release clause in his contract on July 1. This will allow Barca to incorporate the signing into next season's finances. (RAC1)

Ilkay Gundogan has quelled speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona, with the Germany midfielder insisting he is "very happy" at Manchester City. He did add, however, his decision will be based on whether the club wants him to stay. (Arab News)

Eidur Gudjohnsen's two teenage sons are set to sign for Real Madrid. Andri, 16, and 12-year-old Daniel will arrive in the Spanish capital having been in Espanyol and Barcelona's youth academy up until now. (Marca)

GERMANY

James Rodriguez's permanent transfer to Bayern Munich is not finalised yet. The Colombia international moved on loan to Bayern from Real Madrid last season, with a clause meaning the deal can be made permanent for €42m. However, the clause has yet to be activated. (SportBild)

FRANCE

PSG need to recoup around €60m of transfer fees this summer. Selling Odsonne Edouard to Celtic and the potential sale of Javier Pastore to AS Roma will get them halfway to their target. The last move to take them out of trouble should be Portugal forward Goncalo Guedes to Valencia for around €40m. (L'Equipe)

Marseille were hoping to have a deal to sign Mario Balotelli from Nice wrapped up before July 1. However, the demands of Mino Raiola are putting the breaks on the move. The Italian's agent wants his client to be the best-paid player at the club. (L'Equipe)

PORTUGAL

Argentine centre-back Cristian Lema arrived in Lisbon early on Thursday ahead of completing a move to Benfica. The 27-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Portuguese club. (O Jogo)

Chancel Mbemba has agreed personal terms with Porto, but there are still some details to be ironed out between the club and Newcastle United before a transfer can be completed. (O Jogo)
