Troy Archibald-Henville says he would be prepared to extend his loan at Exeter, if he is playing regularly.

On-loan Spurs defender open to staying at Exeter

Troy Archibald-Henville says he would be prepared to extend his loan at Exeter City, providing he is playing regularly. The Tottenham Hotspur defender is on loan at St James Park until mid-January and has made 13 appearances for the Grecians to date. However, Archibald-Henville has started only one game in the past two months and does not want to stay with Exeter if he is not going to be in Paul Tisdale's team. "I have come on loan to play games and I'm not playing," Archibald-Henville told the Express & Echo. "At the moment in my career this is a vital time to be playing. "I need to prove myself in the football community and I need to prove myself back at Tottenham so I have to be playing somewhere, definitely. "If I had to pick somewhere to play I would want to stay here. I wouldn't want to go anywhere, but I don't know what's going to happen." Exeter boss Tisdale added: "I have not started to think about extending his loan spell, but that's not to say we won't. "A month's a long way away yet. We have still got four weeks to go and lots of games."
