USA skipper plays down transfer rumours
Landon Donovan claims to be happy in the MLS and has no desire to secure a summer switch elsewhere.
Reports have suggested that the United States skipper could be heading back to Europe over the coming weeks, after shining at the 2010 World Cup.
He has already taken in spells at Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich and Everton in the past, underlining his ability to compete at the highest level.
The Toffees, with whom he took in a spell last season, have made it clear that they would be keen to bring him back to Goodison Park.
Serious
Manchester City are also believed to have expressed an interest, with Roberto Mancini always on the lookout for creative talent.
Donovan, though, has sought to play down the ongoing speculation by insisting that he has no plans to leave Los Angeles Galaxy any time soon.
"Right now, I want to be in America," he said.
"If there's something serious to look at, then I will. I never say never to anything. But for now, I'm very excited to be home."
