Nicolas Douchez is yet to commit his future to Rennes, with a number of other offers turning his head.
The goalkeeper is believed to have been presented with a new three-year deal at Rennes, with the Ligue 1 outfit reluctant to lose their first-choice shot-stopper.
Douchez is aware of mounting interest in his services, though, and is reluctant to sign a new deal at this juncture.
He has been quick to point out that he has not snubbed an extension, but wants to make sure that he explores all avenues thoroughly before putting pen to paper.
"Talks will probably resume in the next few days with Rennes," Douchez told
L'Equipe.
"I have not closed the door on anything. I just have propositions I haven't accepted yet.
"I want to be happy with my choice and have no regrets, be that staying with Rennes or going somewhere else."

Rennes are also in discussion with coach Frederic Antonetti regarding a possible extension to his contract.
Like Douchez he is keen to steer clear of the issue for now, but has admitted that he is open to the idea of prolonging his association with the club.
"I met with major shareholder Mr Pinault last week and with chairman Patrick Le Lay and general manager Pierre Dreossi," said Antonetti.
"Mr Pinault proposed that I carry on working at Rennes for three more years. I am flattered and honoured by that offer.
"I have never refused a contract, but I need time to think about it. Being 50 years old, this will be a big commitment.
"There is a good chance we will continue working together, but some other things have to be considered - such as our ability to keep all our players in the summer."
