Mick McCarthy was full of praise after Wolves battled to a precious point at Premier League title-chasing Tottenham.
The Molinuex club's winless run now stands at seven matches and they remain in 16th position and just one point off the relegation zone.
But having frustrated Spurs after Steven Fletcher's opener could only be equalised by Luka Modric, McCarthy was delighted with a disciplined and determined display.
"I'm very proud of the performance and think I am entitled to be," he told
Sky Sports at White Hart Lane.
"We have had to defend, as everybody is saying this week, against potential Premier League winners.
Embarrassed
"I think we have been great. I'm delighted with the performance."
Wolves survived a late scare after referee Mike Jones signalled for a drop-ball inside the visitors' box following a collision between Wayne Hennessey and Roger Johnson.
Having been left baffled by the award, McCarthy was relieved to see his players overcome the threat, with Jones giving a foul to Wolves as Spurs challenged for the drop-ball.
"I think it is one of the most ridiculous decisions I have seen," said the Wolves boss. "Nobody knew it was a foul.
"Their (Tottenham's) bench was desperate to score from it, but suitably embarrassed about the fact that they got it.
"We got a point, that's all that matters to me today."
