Netherlands winger Arjen Robben insists he is only focusing on Euro 2012 after brushing off stinging criticism from his own Bayern Munich fans.
Robben, 28, was booed every time he touched the ball during Bayern's friendly against the Dutch national side at the Allianz Arena last week.
The ex-Chelsea star has been made the scapegoat by some fans for the German side's Champions League final defeat to the Blues.
He missed a crucial extra-time spot-kick before the Premier League side went on to clinch the trophy in a penalty shoot-out.
But Dutch fans showed their support for Robben by cheering and applauding his every touch in their side's 2-1 defeat by Bulgaria at the weekend.
Bizarre
"I have never had a week like it," he said. "To be booed by your own fans is bizarre and that is not easy.
"But that is football. Sometimes you are the villain, sometimes you are the hero. I am a strong person and can deal with it."
He added: "I want to thank the Dutch fans for such a warm welcome. It gives you such a good feeling to be welcomed like this by your own fans.
"What is gone is gone. Now I am with Holland and the focus is on the European Championships."
