Police have arrested two more teenagers in connection with a street attack which left a Watford fan with life-threatening injuries.
West Midlands Police said a man aged 18 was arrested on Monday and a 14-year-old boy detained on Tuesday by detectives investigating the assault on Nic Cruwys.
Officers have previously arrested and bailed three others, aged between 13 and 18, as part of their inquiries into the offence in Wolverhampton on March 8.
Mr Cruwys, a 44-year-old father-of-two from Hemel Hempstead, remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
A police spokesman said the latest arrests were made at addresses in Stafford and the Parkfields area of Wolverhampton.
The 18-year-old suspect detained on Monday has since been granted police bail, while the 14-year-old boy remains in custody on suspicion of wounding.
Detective Inspector Toni Naylor, from Wolverhampton's violent crime team, said: "Nic still remains in a critical but stable condition and his family remain by his side.
"Five arrests have now been made but our investigation is still very much ongoing and we are still appealing for information."
An online appeal to raise funds to help Mr Cruwys, set up by a Wolves fan, has now raised more than £33,000.
Watford drew 2-2 with Wolves in their Championship game at Molineux on Saturday March 7.
