Former Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud scores thunderbolt for Malta against Azerbaijan

Former Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud showed he's still got an eye for goal at 34 with an absolute belter for Malta against Azerbaijan.

Malta were trailing in Sunday's European Qualifier until Mifsud, who also had a spell at Barnsley, found the back of the net just before the hour mark with a thumping strike from range when a ball was laid into his path.

Malta went on to take the lead but had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
