We look back at Man United's 4-2 win at Arsenal from 1 February 2005, which proved to be a dramatic game both on and off the pitch

We delved into the vault and picked out this classic Highbury encounter between Arsenal and Manchester United from February 2005.

The action started even before the Premier League game kicked off, as Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira exchanged words in the tunnel. It was to be the United captain who would have the final word though, as his side ran out 4-2 winners.

However, it was who Vieira headed the Gunners in front before Ryan Giggs' deflected effort brought United level. Arsenal retook the lead before the break though, as Dennis Bergkamp slotted the ball past Roy Carroll.

The visitors equalised through Cristiano Ronaldo in the second half and the Portuguese was on hand to tap in Giggs' cross to put United 3-2 up.

Mikael Silvestre was then sent off for a headbutt on Freddie Ljungberg before John O'Shea wrapped up the points with an exquisite chip over Manuel Almunia.
