Friday Night Football podcast: Liverpool beat Chelsea
Saturday 17 September 2016 00:21, UK
Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry and Graeme Souness joined Jeff Stelling and Rachel Riley to discuss Liverpool's victory over Chelsea on Friday Night Football.
The visitors ran out 2-1 winners at Stamford Bridge thanks to first-half goals from Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson.
Diego Costa halved the deficit in the 62nd minute but Chelsea could not snatch a point as their unbeaten start to the season came to an end.
The match saw David Luiz start for the Blues, having re-joined from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
The Brazilian replaced John Terry, who was out with injury, and Souness said: "If John Terry played tonight, Chelsea wouldn't have conceded that first goal. Someone who can organise would have stopped that goal.
"David Luiz did nothing wrong but the most important thing for central defenders is stopping efforts on your goal."
Carragher added that Luiz will struggle to break in to the Chelsea first-team if both Gary Cahill and Terry are fit.
