West Ham's Premier League defeat to Chelsea passed off without a repeat of October's significant crowd trouble though there was a pitch invader at the London Stadium.

This season's EFL Cup meeting between the sides saw rival fans throw coins, bottles and seats and prompted a review of security measures at the London Stadium.

Stewards had just one major incident to deal with on Monday night as a supporter climbed over the hoardings to confront Chelsea's celebrating players after Eden Hazard's opening goal.

Blues defender David Luiz remonstrated with the man as stewards intervened to lead him away.

Chelsea went on to win the game 2-1, Diego Costa scoring after the break before Manuel Lanzini replied for West Ham in added time.
