Skysports.com understands Swiss midfielder Thierno Bah is hoping to win a move to the UK.
The 27-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving Neuchatel Xamax in the Swiss Super League.
Bah, who has also played for Servette FC and represented Switzerland at Under 21 level, is keen to try his luck in Britain
The defensive midfielder is keen to fix himself up with a new club as he believes he has the qualities to be a success in the UK.
"I've always dreamed of playing in the English league or Scottish league because I think British football is one of the best football in the world," Bah told
skysports.com.
"I think I have the qualities to adapt to their style of play.
"I'd be very happy to wear the jersey of a team of one of the two leagues."
Trial
Agent Gino Culbertson, who is working on behalf of the player's representative in the UK, admits Bah is willing to go on trial to impress interested clubs.
"I have been asked by a contact to circulate the name of Thierno to clubs in the UK as he would like to have the chance to play in Britain," Culbertson told
skysports.com.
"He is willing to come over and train with a club so that he can show that he has a lot to offer to any interested side."
