Sky Bet make Hajvalia 100/1 to sign Luis Suarez amid claims of loan bid for banned Uruguay striker

Kosovo Superleague side Hajvalia are unlikely to be successful in their audacious loan swoop for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, according to Sky Bet.

The online bookmaker offer odds of 100/1 for Suarez to be playing his football with Hajvalia come the end of the summer transfer window, following confirmation of their offer.

The Uruguayan striker has been banned from football for four months by governing body FIFA after being found guilty of biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini at the Word Cup.

However, Kosovar Cup holders Hajvalia are not yet recognised as a full FIFA member, and director Xhavit Pocolli has revealed his club’s plans to exploit the terms of Suarez’s ban.

“Suarez can't play in the next four months,” he told Kosovan daily Sport Plus.

“As we are not part of FIFA yet, I think he can play in Kosovo, so we have an offer that we will send to Liverpool.”

Suarez is currently odds-on to leave Liverpool this summer despite his global ban, but Barcelona are the favourites (10/11) for his signature, followed by Real Madrid (5/1).

Sky Bet’s Head of Football Trading Paul Wiggins said: “We can’t imagine a player of Suarez’s profile would be willing to take up such an offer, even if it allows him to play competitive football.

“There could well be a PR motive to Hajvalia’s offer, and that’s why we’re not taking it too seriously, going 100/1 on the move actually coming off.”
