Manchester United enjoy the most favourable start to the Premier League season according to Sky Bet with Louis van Gaal’s men 7/2 to win their first three games.

Tottenham are quoted at 100/30 to prevail in their opening-weekend trip to Old Trafford, while United then face Aston Villa (A) and Newcastle (H), a run of fixtures which they are 100/1 to end empty handed.

Arsenal are slightly longer odds at 4/1 to win their first three as they come up against West Ham (H), Crystal Palace (A) and Liverpool (H), while Brendan Rodgers' men are considered least likely of last season's top six to win their opening trio of games at 14/1.

The Reds face Stoke (A) and Bournemouth (H), before their trip to the Emirates on August 22.

Back Louis van Gaal's men to win their first three games of the Premier League season at 7/2 here.

West Brom’s start is rated the toughest, with the Baggies 66/1 to take maximum points from their first three games as they face Manchester City (H), Watford (A) and Chelsea (H), while they are just 15/2 to lose all three.

Champions Chelsea are considered 6/4 favourites for the title, but it is United who have attracted the most interest in the early outright betting at 5/1.

Sky Bet’s Chris Spicer said: “While it obviously has no impact on the outright odds, as all sides still have to play each other twice, United have the chance to steal a march on their rivals in August with City and Chelsea clashing in the second weekend and Arsenal and Liverpool meeting the following one.

”Confidence already seems to be flowing among United fans as another summer of investment looks on the cards with the early money going on Van Gaal’s men to clinch the title.”
