Juan Mata has scaled back his weekly blog post in the wake of Manchester United's worst start to a league campaign for 29 years, writing "it isn't really a time for posts".

United lost 3-1 at West Ham United on Saturday, a result which leaves them tenth in the Premier League after three defeats from their first seven matches.

The loss at the London Stadium followed United's Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Championship side Derby County and a disappointing home draw against newly-promoted Wolves.

Mata, who came off the bench against West Ham, wrote on Monday: "Hi everyone. Today, my blog post is shorter than usual. In fact, it isn't really a time for posts.
