Burnley manager Sean Dyche says his side must focus on themselves if they are to overcome a Manchester United side enjoying a 'new manager bounce'.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has changed the mood at Manchester United, according to Burnley boss Sean Dyche.

Solskjaer has won eight games out of eight in all competitions since taking over from Jose Mourinho in December.

As Burnley prepare to face United on Tuesday, Dyche was asked how impressed he was with how Solskjaer has managed to turn things around.

Dyche admit it is difficult for Burnley to do transfer business in the January window.

He said: "It seems from the outside looking in, it seems like he has just tried to loosen it a little bit and put more freedom on it.

"A bit more energy seems to have come back to the players. I think that's a skill in itself. I think possibly that is what he has done; he has just given a different feel to the group in his own way.

"But I think they have responded and they are delivering good performances. It seems there is a little bit more spark, not massive tactical changes, but just that spark within the group.

Goalkeeper Tom Heaton admits he considered leaving Burnley in the January transfer window due to limited game time.

"I am not questioning Jose Mourinho, I think he is an absolutely incredible and top manager. He's [OGS] changed that feeling in the group coming in and they have responded."
